Man (40s) injured after e-scooter crash in Galway

A man in his 40s has been injured in a crash involving an e-scooter in Galway city.

It happened in Salthill shortly after 9pm last night.

The man was taken from the scene for treatment.

The R336, near the Blackrock diving tower, remains closed, with diversions in place.
