The incident took place at the junction of North Earl Street and Marlborough Street.
A number of garda cars are on the scene, in addition to Dublin Fire Brigade units and ambulance personnel.
A tent has been erected around the crash site, and a garda cordon has been put in place.

Talbot Street is closed from Gardiner Street. Marlborough Street is closed from Cathal Brugha Street.
A number of ambulances have already left the scene this afternoon, with the street set to remain closed for some time.
Lord Mayor of Dublin Ray McAdam is urging people not to share any images of the scene.
"I really would desist... if there were people here who took pictures earlier that they don't circulate those images online. But for the grace of God it could have been any of us, and you'd hate to think family members of those unvolved hadn't heard or seen what happened and they come across this on social media."
Bus Éireann has confirmed one of its buses was involved in an incident - it was not in service at the time.

The operator said it has staff working alongside the emergency services and says it will offer its full support to the authorities.
In a statement, Dublin Fire Brigade said it is dealing with a "serious incident" at the junction of Talbot Street and North Earl Street.
