AN appeal has been launched after a car was stolen outside the owner’s home in the middle of the night.
The Volvo saloon was stolen at a house in Droughill Lawn, Portarlington at 3am yesterday.
The car had only 30km of diesel in the tank when it was taken from outside the house.
In an appeal on the POP People of Port social media page, the owner said the car may have been seen parked in Portarlington or within a 30km proximity following the theft in the early hours of Thursday, 27 August.
The owner asked local residents to keep a look out for the car particularly in estates, industrial estates and cul de sacs. The car’s registration number is 172 W 1318.
