The annual Castlecomer Wellie Race has, once again, been hailed a great success. Attracting young and old runners and walkers from all strands of life the annual event never seems to disappoint and the New Year off to a flying start. Apart from the hundreds of participants, colourful floats depicting all aspects of daily, community the arts and political life added a colourful element to the day.
