STRADBALLY is probably best known throughout the length and breathe of Ireland and beyond as being home of the Electric Picnic and annual Steam Rally.
Now it seems it can add another string to its bow with the announcement that the inaugural ‘The Fitz of Inch Christmas Festival’ will take over three days, from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 of December inclusive.
A remarkable 17th century country residence and private venue, better known for exclusive gatherings and events on the outskirts of the picturesque village, Fitz of Inch is delighted to open its gates and welcoming the public with open arms this festive season.
Michael Fitzpatrick, managing director, stated: “We are very excited about our first Christmas Festival here at Fitz of Inch. The team and I have been literally working like little elves, to prepare a Santa Experience and Christmas Festival like no other, and we would love if people could join us, there really is something for everyone at the event.” Santa, Mrs Claus, the elves and even the Grinch all play a part in the event. The family-friendly extravaganza promises fun and festive cheer for all the family.
In addition to the Santa Experience, the action-packed three-day festival also offers visitors the chance to browse and enjoy a Christmas fair and attend a series of concerts each evening.
Guests will be entertained by cheerful elves on arrival, offering face painting and lots of festive fun for all the family. Mrs. Claus will be on hand to provide delicious hot chocolate and a chat with the little ones too. The cosy barn is the perfect place snuggle up and listen to heartwarming tales that capture the magic of the season. Of course, a visit to Santa’s grotto is the real highlight where each child will receive a special treat and an optional family festive photo to capture the moment.
The fun doesn’t end there! Already, the Grinch has been up to his usual mischief so the elves will need help with a treasure hunt, filled with laughter and fun surprises.
