It was a proud day for pupils from Killenard NS when they made their Confirmation on Thursday 6 March. St John's Church was packed with equally proud family members and teaching staff, who watched as each pupil made their way to the altar to be confirmed by Bishop Denis Nulty, assisted by Fr Eugen Dragos Tamas. Photographer Denis Byrne captured the warm, family and community atmosphere of this special day.
