Portlaoise Juvenile Court: Youth caused €2,000 damage to shop glass doors

A TEENAGE boy who caused over €2,000 damage to glass doors of a shop was remanded on continuing bail when he appeared before a recent sitting of the Juvenile Court in Portlaoise.

The 16-year old, who cannot be identified due to his age, is charged with criminally damaging two glass doors causing over €2,000 damage to them and with burglary at Supervalu, Cooltederry, Portarlington on 11 November 2023.

Judge Deirdre Gearty remanded the boy on continuing bail until 10 February.
