The late Joan Ferns
Joan Ferns, Cuddagh South, Ballacolla and of Castletown died unexpectedly but peacefully at her home on Wednesday 6 November.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late Liam and loving mother to Anthony, Thomas, Mary and Margaret, cherished grandma to Alex, Karl, Daniel, Joe and Dara.
Joan will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, grandchildren, brothers Sean, Ned and PJ, sisters Sr. Patricia and Agnes, sons-in-law Hugh and Darren, daughter-in-law Pearl and Thomas’s partner Maura, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, her wonderful friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Friday evening 8 November from 6.30pm concluding with Rosary at 8.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Saturday morning 9 November in Saint Edmund’s Church, Castletown (eircode R32KT22) at 11am followed by Burial in Churchtown Cemetery.
