DRUGS, e-scooters and an e-bike were seized by gardaí in Portlaoise last night, as part of a targeted operation.
Four separate drug seizures were made, as well as one e-bike and two e-scooters.
The operation was carried out in the town by the Portlaoise Community Policing Unit on Monday night.
Gardaí said the initiative focused on ‘antisocial behaviour and issues affecting the local community’.
Posting a photo of the seized electric vehicles on social media today, An Garda Síochána Laois/Offaly said: ‘Visible Gardaí. Targeted enforcement. Safer streets. And we'll be back.’
