Gardaí attend morning crash in Laois

A BUSY road in Portarlington had to be closed by gardaí following a crash this morning.
The two-vehicle collision happened on the Lea Road between 7am and 8am.
Emergency services attended the scene and gardaí set up traffic diversions.
There are no reports of injuries as yet following the crash, on the R420 Lea Road just outside the town.
The road remains closed with traffic diversions in place, while the collision is cleared.
