Kildare gardaí seized 100 tyres in the run up to Halloween from a group of youths.
The official An Garda Siochana Kildare Facebook page reported that Leixlip gardaí “in conjunction with business owners over the weekend” seized over 100 tyres.
‘These youths had helped themselves to five industrial bins from local businesses and started ferrying their hoard to its destination.’ Gardaí they understand its mid term and Halloween is approaching but urged parents to ‘talk to your children and remind them about the dangers involved in fires’.
Gardaí concluded: ‘We want all children to have a happy and safe halloween.’
