Glorious Apple Fest returns to Abbeyleix
Freshly pressed apple juice, treats and children's games are promised at the annual Apple Fest
THE glorious annual Apple Fest will return to Abbeyleix next weekend, promising delicious treats and attractions for all the family.
Running for more than a decade, the Apple Fest is held in the beautiful Community Garden on the first Sunday of October each year.
All fruit provided has been sourced from local orchards and gardens, with a wonderful selection of freshly pressed apple juice, pies, cakes and other apple-based snacks.
Along with traditional apple pressing from many varieties, there will be food stalls and craft displays as well as children’s games throughout the afternoon.
The event will run from 2pm until 5pm on Sunday 4 October in the Community Garden, which is accessed via the laneway beside the old post office on Market Square near Main Street.
