The death has occurred of Gerry Murphy St Brigids Place, Portlaoise, Co.Laois and formerly Dundalk Co.Louth.
Died 26 June peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his loving son Ger Murphy. Beloved husband of Patsy and much loved father of Damien, Brian, Niall, Cathal, Evelyn, Sinead, Trish, Lorraine and Rachel.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, (Dundalk) extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
A kind gentle and devoted family man, he will be remembered for his warmth, generosity and quiet strength, his love guidance and unwavering support will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
May he Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:30pm with recital of the rosary at 5:45pm removal thereafter to SS Peter and Paul's Church Portlaoise for 6:30pm funeral prayers.
Requiem mass on Monday at 11am followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul's cemetery Portlaoise.
