LAOIS Hospice Foundation supporting patients with cancer and other life limiting illnesses at home, is delighted to announce the presentation of new syringe pumps to the Laois Palliative Care Team. This equipment will be used in the community by the Palliative Care team to enhance comfort and symptom management for patients nearing end of life in their own homes surrounded by their loved ones.

The total cost of this equipment is €22,140 and this is only possible by the generosity of all the people who contribute so generously to Laois Hospice.

Laois Hospice Foundation is now eagerly awaiting the progression of the new Midlands In-Patient Hospice in Tullamore for the people of the Midlands who have been waiting 15 years for this unit. It must progress now without any further delays.
