Three Laois food and drink suppliers will showcase their goods along with members of the Midlands Food and Drink Network, who are set to make its first-ever appearance at Ireland’s largest foodservice and hospitality event, CATEX 2025. The event is taking place at the RDS Dublin from Tuesday next 18 to Thursday 20 February. The network will be showcasing some of the finest food and drink producers from the Midlands at Stand K42, inviting attendees to experience the quality and diversity of the region’s food sector.
Visitors to the Midlands stand (K42) will have the opportunity to meet a diverse lineup of local producers representing a wide range of innovative and traditional food and drink offerings. Laois exhibitors include:
o Bowfield Farm – Specialising in producing a wide range of microgreens using sustainable vertical farming.
o G’s Gourmet Jams – A family-run business creating traditional, homemade jams and preserves.
o Le Skinny Chef – Offering gourmet sauces and condiments crafted with authentic French culinary expertise.
Speaking ahead of the event, Bernie Everard, Midlands Food and Drink network manager, highlighted the significance of this debut appearance: “We are delighted to be exhibiting at CATEX for the first time and providing a platform for Midlands-based food and drink producers to showcase their exceptional products to industry professionals. The Midlands is home to a rich and diverse food culture, and we look forward to connecting with buyers, chefs, and retailers who are seeking high-quality, locally sourced produce.”
