Laois team all set for National Ploughing Championships

THE Laois team is all set for the National Ploughing Championships in Offaly this week, when they will dig deep to bring glory across the border.
The experienced team competing in Screggan, Tullamore, is made up of Alan Davis, Karl Davis, JP Fenlon, Jim Greene, DJ McHugh, Cormac Goode, Sean McHugh, Patsy Condron, Mark Ging, Tadhg McHugh, Thomas Cushen, Jim Ryan, Pádraig Brandon, Billy Shaw, Shay Duggan and Keir Lilley.
The team was photographed at the launch by Alf Harvey, ahead of the championships which will run from Tuesday to Thursday, 16-18 September.
