THE hugely popular Fisherstown Tractor and Truck Run makes a welcome return this year with organisers promising a bigger and better event than ever.
The official launch took place on Thursday 1 May with the run taking place on Sunday 6 July at the Final Furlong in Ballybrittas.
The call went out for drivers of tractors, trucks and vintage cars to sign up for one of the largest runs in Laois.
Since its inception, funds have been raised for various charities and this year is no exception. The chosen charity is the Head and Neck Oncology Clinics at St James’s Hospital, supporting vital care and services.
In 2024, the event raised an incredible €52,000 for the local cancer charity.
