STAFF from the Local Enterprise Office in Laois held another Women in Business event recently as part of a series to support female entrepreneurship in the county.

The large attendance took the opportunity to network with one another and hear from keynote speaker Susan Hayes Culleton on ‘Inspiring growth and opportunity’.

CEO of the Hayes Culleton Group, Susan led a business strategy workshop on introducing a proprietary tool that adapts the Wheel of Life for business growth. The session guided participants through practical frameworks, including product definition, market mapping with the Ansoff matrix, customer segmentation and the importance of aligning actions with long-term goals.

She said: “Empowering entrepreneurs to take a holistic view of their business is at the heart of what we do. Our adapted Wheel of Life tool helps leaders focus on what truly matters –clarifying their offering, understanding their customers and building the right support systems for sustainable growth.” Susan thanked Honor Deevy, Evelyn Reddin and the Local Enterprise Office Laois team for their warm welcome and engagement at the event.

The next event in the Laois Women in Business series will take place on Thursday 28 August, which will be a business networking lunch in Castle Durrow, when speaker Breeda O’Connell will give a talk on ‘Style with purpose – dress with confidence, clarity and impact’.

Registration is essential and the booking fee is €20 per person. To book a place, log onto www.localenterprise.ie/laois or phone Local Enterprise Office Laois on 057 8661800.
