Newly discovered infants burial ground in Laois to be consecrated
Infants remains that were buried near the grounds of the Romanesque Doorway at Killeshin Church
There was a recent discovery of some infants remains that had been buried near the grounds of the Romanesque Doorway at Killeshin Church.
The newly discovered burial ground will be consecrated and a special memorial stone and seat will be unveiled on Sunday 3 November.
There will also be a special Mass in the memory of the deceased infants at 3pm in the Old Cemetery on the same afternoon.
