Outstanding leaving cert results at Mountrath Community School

MOUNTRATH Community School students obtained outstanding leaving cert results this year.
Five of the students achieving over 600 points and almost a quarter of the leaving cert class scoring more than 550 points.
Special mention for Conor Mortimer, Amy Moore, Pete Culleton, Laura Kutkina who all received over 600 points while Rory Tully attained a top score of 625 points.
Conor, attended Camross National School, Pete, Na Carraige National School in Mountmellick. Amy attended Ballyfin National School Rory studied at Naomh Eoin National School in Killenard while Laura who was a past student of Coláiste Mhuire in Johnstown.
Conor hopes to study Veterinary Medicine at UCD. Amy has her sights set on Pharmacy in Galway. Pete plans to pursue Engineering, also in Galway. Laura will combine her talents in both Linguistics and Mathematics at UCD while Rory is looking forward to a career in Actuarial Studies also at UCD.
The entire school community said it was delighted with every one of their student’s achievements and extends warm congratulations to all students who sat their exams this year.
“Their results are a testament not only to their commitment and perseverance, but also to the support and encouragement of their teachers, families, and peers. Their efforts and resilience have made Mountrath Community School proud, and the future is undoubtedly bright for each of them,” said School Principal Kathryn O’Brien.
