Parking bays needed in Graiguecullen housing estate

Cllr Ben Brennan called for parking bays for The Vale housing estate in Graiguecullen
PARKING bays are badly needed in The Vale housing estate in Graiguecullen, according to local councillor Ben Brennan.
“They’re badly, badly, badly needed,” said cllr Brennan, “because there’s so many houses and so many vehicles there that they’re all parked on the road.”
He said: “The sight lines are gone coming out of the estate and there’s a lot of people in trouble. We have a problem there for a wheelchair user as well. A chap goes down in his wheelchair and there’s cars in his way. They’re even parking up on the grass. We have room there to put car parking spaces in.”
Cllr Brennan was informed that council staff would with him in the area to investigate the issue.
Cllr Brennan said that he was looking forward to meeting the staff on site and that “hopefully we can get this resolved.”
