PLANNING permission has been sought for the construction of a new service station on Athy Road, Stradbally.

The plans include a metal canopy over the pump station, alongside separate truck and agricultural diesel fuel stations, a convenience retail unit, which will include grocery, delicatessen, goods store, toilets and staff facilities. It is also planned to have an external solid fuel, gas and bin storage area, underground water and fuel tanks and a car wash facility.

All ancillary site services are planned to include connection to mains water, storm and foul sewers.

The application was submitted on 29 May and, as yet, there are no published appeals.
