PORTLAOISE Musical Society is to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a Siver Gala Ball on Friday night 25 October.
The organising committee is hoping that as many of their current and previous members and crews, production teams, make-up artists, sponsors and supporters can come along on the night to help them celebrate the occasion, to get glammed up, sing along and to dance the night away with them.
Local popular group Trad Hits made up of James O’Connor, Kurt Dinneen Carroll, Bill O’Brien, Ruaidhrí Tierney, Dale McKay and David Harte as well as DJ Steegan will be providing the entertainment on the night with more acts to be announced.
The black-tie and gown glam event is set to be packed full of entertainment that’s taking place in the four-star Midlands Park Hotel. Tickets are priced at €75 each or a table for €750 and are available by emailing pmsturns25@gmail.com Each table will be named after one of the society’s shows down through the years or a show it would aspire to do.
The event is also acting as a fundraiser for the society’s 25th anniversary show ‘Guys & Dolls’.
