Portlaoise pub offers free drink if Mayo win!

A PORTLAOISE pub is offering free drinks this afternoon, if long-suffering Mayo win the All-Ireland senior football final.
The Square Bar on Market Square made the thirst-quenching offer on social media, as Mayo kick off a bid to end their 75-year drought in Croke Park.
The only catch is that customers must be in the bar before half-time to qualify.
The match against old rivals Kerry got underway at 3.30pm, so there’s not much time left.
And with Mayo desperately seeking their first All-Ireland senior football title since 1951, it looks like a safe bet for The Square Bar team.
The pub team said on their Facebook page: ‘Catch Kerry v Mayo live on our big screens from 3:30pm, including the huge screen in our covered beer garden. Rain or shine, we’ve got you covered… literally!’
They added: ‘Tag the Mayo supporter who needs to see this and get yourselves down early! One complimentary selected drink per customer aged 18+. Offer applies if Mayo win. Customers must be in the bar before half-time to qualify. T&Cs apply.’
