Reason why someone in Portlaoise missed their food last night
Gardaí stopped the driver on his way to make a food delivery
Someone in Portlaoise went without their food that they has ordered after the delivery driver from the takeaway was stopped driving by gardaí while on his way to drop off the food.
When gardaí stopped the driver on Friday night 29 November they found that he was driving while disqualified.
The vehicle was seized, the driver charged to appear before Portlaoise District Court and the food that had been ordered that he was on his way to deliver never made it to its destination.
