Rosenallis Festival presents funds to Cuisle Centre

THE oldest festival in Laois has presented a donation to a local cancer support group, following a record-breaking 2026 event.
The Rosenallis Festival of the Mountain and Vintage Rally committee presented the funds to the Cuisle Cancer Support Centre, at a celebration in the Village Tap on Friday 25 September.
The festival committee said on social media: ‘We were delighted to present a cheque of €1,000 to the Cuisle Cancer Support Centre in Portlaoise.
‘A huge thank you to everyone who supported this year’s Rosenallis Festival of the Mountain and Vintage Rally. Your generosity makes donations like this possible for such a vital service in our community.’
Founded in 1962, the festival drew more than 2,000 people to beautiful Glenbarrow on Sunday 16 August, for a wonderful afternoon of family entertainment.
The committee is already planning for next year’s event, which will be held on Sunday 15 August 2027.
