Search for missing Laois woman is sadly stood down

THE search for a missing Laois woman has been stood down, following the tragic discovery of a body.
Gardaí confirmed shortly after 5pm today that a missing person appeal for Bronwyn Ashe has sadly ended.
The 33-year-old was reported missing from her home in Abbeyleix two days ago.
Confirming the sad news, gardaí said in a statement: ‘Following the discovery of a body of a female, the missing person appeal in respect of Bronwyn Ashe (33), who was reported missing from her home in Abbeyleix, Co Laois since Tuesday 28 July, has been stood down.
'An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.’
