Splashing the cash at Laois outdoor swimming pool

Ballinakill Outdoor Swimming Pool has been approved for funding totaling €23,300.
The news has been welcomed by Deputy Seán Fleming, who said: "This funding will support the development of this safe and accessible outdoor swimming location in Ballinakill, which enables more people to enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of outdoor swimming."

Deputy Fleming, added: "People of all ages and abilities can enjoy these amenities in their local community and with these safety and inclusive equipment, it can make a big difference to people’s confidence and ability in taking part."

He concluded by stating: "I look forward to seeing these improvements delivered as soon as possible."
