Phelan stars as Cullohill crowned Division 4 Camogie champions

CULLOHILL were crowned Division 4 champions after putting in a five-star performance against Rathdowney.

Beth Phelan was the star of the show as she got her first point of the day. Rathdowney responded through Roise McHugh with a goal, but it was their last score of the half.

Phelan then took over the game hitting 3-5 while Sarah Norton also got a goal leaving the scores at 3-4 to 1-0 at the break.

The brilliant Phelan started the half with another 1-2 from play. Saoirse Callaghan responded for The Rathdowney school.

Freda Kenny got the last goal before Phelan hit two more points to finish off her scoring. Callaghan scored the last score as Cullohill ran out victors.
