Robbie runs riot for St Colmcille’s

St Colmcille’s NS Errill 13-6

ST Colmcille's NS Errill were crowned Division 6 Hurling champions after crashing in 13 goals in a dominant display against Portlaoise Educate Together NS.

The victors got off to the perfect start with a point from Lukas Murphy. The goals started to come after that point.

Two goals from Robbie Meagher gave his side an early lead that they never gave up. Kayde Halberstadt responded with a goal of his own for The Portlaoise side.

But the victors responded with another goal from Murphy. Halberstadt would score his second goal which was their last score of the game.

St Colmcille's finished the half the strongest scoring another 3-3. Murphy grabbed 1-2, while Meagher hit in two goals with Ryan Thompson getting the other point.

There was no let up in the second half as St Colmcille's ran away with the contest scoring seven more goals.

Meagher hit in three more goals while Murphy hit two more as the game was in the closing stages.

Ryan Thompson finished off with a goal as St Colmcille's NS were crowned Roinn 6 shield champions.
