Shamrock Rovers remain six points clear at the top of the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division on Friday evening.

Josh Honohan made up for an earlier own goal to score the winner at Tolka Park, as the Hoops beat Shelbourne 2-1.

Derry City's winless run stretches to four games, after a 1-all draw at home to Galway United.

Bohemians have moved up to second in the table tonight - Archie Meekison and Dayle Rooney got the goals in a 2-0 win at Cork City.

They leapfrog Drogheda United, who had to settle for a scoreless draw with St Patrick's Athletic at Richmond Park.
