Galway, Tyrone and Louth have joined Cork in the All-Ireland Senior Football quarter-finals.

Niall Morgan's late two-pointer helped Tyrone to see off Mayo by 0-22 to 1-18 in Omagh.

Galway held off a fightback from Leinster champions Westmeath to win their Salthill clash by 3-21 to 2-21.

A buzzer-beater goal from Sam Mulroy gave Louth a dramatic 2-20 to 2-19 victory against Armagh in Iniskeen.

Armagh, Westmeath, Mayo and Donegal will find out their round three opponents on Monday morning.

They will face Kerry, Dublin, Monaghan or Meath next weekend.

Dublin boss Ger Brennan has said he wants to move on after his recent 12-week ban.

He was back on the sidelines on Sunday to watch his team overcome Cavan by 1-24 to 0-16 at Breffni Park to reach round three.

Brennan had said was insulted by Jarlath Burns' saying comparisons between his ban and a similar infraction by Donegal manager Jim McGuinness were "irrational".

But the Dublin manager told Newstalk that he has since received an apology from the GAA President.

Elsewhere, Galway beat Waterford by 1-13 to 0-13 in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship.

Aoife Donoghue's early goal proved the difference between the sides at Walsh Park.

Cork made it two wins from two, picking up a 0-21 to 0-18 victory over Tipperary.

Soccer

Germany are just kicking off against World Cup debutants Curacao.

Arsenal forward Kai Havertz and Florian Wirtz of Liverpool are among the starting 11 for the four-time winners in Houston.

Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is only the second German to play at a fifth finals.

The Netherlands take on Japan later this evening.

Meanwhile, Scotland World Cup goalscorer John McGinn says the squad can make history on Friday night.

The 1-0 win over Haiti in Boston means the side top Group C after Brazil and Morocco drew 1-1.

That means a draw against Morocco will see the Scots progress for the first time and into the last 32.

In the other overnight match, Australia beat Turkey 2-0 in Vancouver.

Golf

Shane Lowry remains nine-under-par after three holes of his final round at golf's Canadian Open.

The former Open winner is four shots off the lead in Toronto.

Motorsport

Lewis Hamilton has won the Barcelona-Catalunya F1 Grand Prix - his first race victory for Ferrari.

George Russell, who started on pole position, was second, just ahead of title holder Lando Norris.

Championship leader Kimi Antonelli was on course to finish just behind Hamilton but retired with four laps to go.

Darts

Ireland have been knocked out of the World Cup of Darts in the quarter-finals.

Willie O'Connor and Micky Mansell have suffered an eight legs to five defeat against Scotland.

Pre-tournament favourites England are through to the last-four after edging past Wales 8-7.
