Laois senior hurling manager Tommy Fitzgerald has announced his team for Saturday’s Joe McDonagh Cup final against Carlow.
There is one change from the side that defeated Down, with Cody Comerford coming into defence in place of Ciaran McEvoy. The selection also features several adjustments from the team that overcame London.
Laois are making their third consecutive appearance in the final, having lost to Offaly in 2024 and Kildare in 2025.
Seven players come into the starting line-up from last year’s final, including Eoin Reilly, Ian Shanahan, Ryan Mullaney, Martin Phelan, Picky Maher, Cillian Dunne and Aaron Dunphy.
Eight players retain their places from the 2025 final: Fiachra C. Fennell, Cody Comerford, Podge Delaney, Lee Cleere, Aidan Corby, David Dooley, Mossy Keyes and Ben Conroy.
