ROUND 2 of the Laois Shopping Centre Intermediate Hurling Championship takes place tonight with all four games scheduled, and already there is plenty at stake after an intriguing opening round.
Abbeyleix arrive with momentum after an impressive 4-15 to 0-15 victory over Clough/Ballacolla in Round 1, a performance built on clinical finishing and four goals.
The Harps, meanwhile, were involved in one of the games of the opening round but ultimately lost 2-20 to 2-17 against Borris/Kilcotton despite a spirited display.

This looks the standout fixture of the round in Group A. Borris-Kilcotton showed character to come through a tough encounter with The Harps and start with a win.
