Dermot Kennedy tickets for hometown gig go on sale

Tickets for Dermot Kennedy's Aviva Stadium show in Dublin go on sale this morning as he announces a second night at the Aviva. General sale tickets were made available today.

He'll play the venue on the 11th of July 2026 and has confirmed an extra date of July 12th.

These will be Kennedy's biggest Irish headline shows yet, but he has already played to large audiences, with previous sold-out gigs at London's O2 Arena and New York's Madison Square Garden. He also performed with Cranberries members Noel and Mike Hogan at the Electric Picnic during the summer.

The singer from Ratchoole, Co Dublin is currently touring North America with his sold-out A Promised Return show.

Sales of tickets for the Aviva gigs next summer follow the launch of Misneach, Kennedy’s new global music festival celebrating Irish music and culture.

The sold-out shows are being held in Sydney and Boston next March, with performances by The Frames, Kneecap, Amble, Sorcha Richardson, The Scratch, and Mick Flannery.

Kennedy's big break came from his emotive single ‘Power Over Me’ in 2018.

Since then, he’s enjoyed a Number 1 album in the UK and several other big hits, including ‘Outnumbered’, ‘Kiss Me’ and ‘Better Days’.
