Singer Perrie Edwards has said she is “always down” for a reunion with former band Little Mix.
The pop star, 32, rocketed to fame alongside bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock after the popular girl band won talent show The X Factor in 2011.
Edwards launched her solo career after the chart-topping group, known for hits including Wings, Black Magic and Shout Out To My Ex, went on an indefinite hiatus in 2022 shortly after Nelson’s departure in 2020.

Speaking to 1883 magazine, Edwards was asked whether a reunion with Little Mix was on the cards and said: “I love the girls, so I’m always down!”
The pop star also added that she is “so excited” to reunite with her former bandmates at her upcoming wedding to professional footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Edwards went on to reflect on how “daunting” it was to leave the girl group and said that becoming a soloist was a “huge dynamic shift”.
She told the magazine: “When you’re in a group, and you’ve got that comfort blanket of the other girls and a big team around you, everything just kind of falls into place.
“When you’ve been doing it for such a long time, like we were, everything was just so easy because we knew what our sound was, what worked, what our fans wanted, what kind of tours we wanted to put on, what set list we wanted. It was like second nature to us.
“When you go solo, it’s basically starting from scratch again. So it’s quite daunting. But when you leave that group, the possibilities are endless.”

The star continued: “I think you’re just kind of overwhelmed by what route you could go down, what direction you want to go down, what your sound is. It’s daunting but exciting all at the same time.”
The pop star released her debut single as a soloist in 2024, co-written with singer Ed Sheeran, titled Forget About Us, and has since released a string of singles including Tears and You Go Your Way.
Edwards, who is set to release new music later this month, also told of how “excited” she is about her upcoming record and said: “I think for me, when I went solo, the most important thing for me was the lyrics.
“I just love telling a story through my music.”
The mother-of-two also reflected on balancing her children and her career, and said: “I love being busy and being on stage and being that pop star girly.
“But then I also love just being at home, being with my kids and being a mum. Going for little dog walks, and just going on adventures and all that kind of thing.
“I feel very fulfilled in my life right now, and I’m very happy with the balance.”
