The late David Griffin
David Griffin (Griff), Dr. Murphy Place, Portlaoise and formerly of Idrone Park, Carlow passed away on Wednesday 23 April at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness bravely borne.
David was a devoted father to Sean and Melanie.
Dearly loved son of Michael and Elizabeth.
Deeply regretted by his heartbroken children, parents, brother Michael and Kevin, grandmother Edna, sister-in-law Marion and Kevin’s partner Louise, Michael Snr’s wife Mag, uncles, aunts, David’s partner Gillian and his children’s mother Dana, relatives, and all his friends and colleagues in The Irish Prison Service.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Sunday afternoon 27 April from 2pm to 6pm.
Removal on Monday 28 April to arrive at Newlands Crematorium for 2.30pm via the Midlands Prison.
Funeral is being conducted in respect of David’s wishes.
