David Griffin (Griff), Dr. Murphy Place, Portlaoise and formerly of Idrone Park, Carlow passed away on Wednesday 23 April at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness bravely borne.

Professor John Reynolds said he had never come across an inferior vena cava in that part of the body in over 30 years of performing surgery.

The court heard the woman's husband died of a form of blood cancer in April 2022
