CAIRN Community Games have a rich history in Co. Laois with thousands of children taking part over the last 50 plus years and organisers are hoping to continue this legacy by providing opportunities for more children and volunteers to get involved.

They are hosting an information session this evening (Thursday 16 January) in the Maldron Hotel, Abbeyleix Road, Portlaoise (R32 HKN3), which is open to all, at 7.30pm.
