Laois death notice: Albert Townsend, Durrow

Albert Townsend, The Course, Durrow, Laois passed peacefully on 31 July, surrounded by his loving family, while under the care of the medical staff of Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.

He is predeceased by his loving wife Mary and their child, his parents and his brother Fred.

Albert is deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his sons Fred and Albert, his daughter Antoinette, son-in-law David, daughters-in-law Liz and Teresa, his adoring grandchildren Abbi, Aislinn, Darragh, Cian, Liam, Robyn, Ciara, Shane and Danielle, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his son Fred's residence (R32 F9KH), The Course, Durrow this Sunday from 4.30pm, pausing for the Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Monday to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow (R32 CK11) for Requiem Mass at 11am, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
