Laois Death Notice: Christopher (Christy) Moran, Main Street, Stradbally

Christopher (Christy) Moran passed away peacefully on 26 October 2026, surrounded by his loving family, in the excellent care of the staff at Kilminchy Nursing Home.

Sadly missed by his beloved wife Dorrie, his children Shirley, Darren, Ann and Brian, his cherished grandchildren Chris, Rebecca, Kate, Tommy and Alex, daughter-in-law Sinead, son-in-law Nick, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May Christy Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his son Darren's home, Main Street, Stradbally, Co. Laois (R32 C427), on Tuesday, 27 October, from 3pm, concluding with recital of the Rosary at 7.00pm. Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Wednesday 28th of October at 11.30am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church Stradbally (R32 WRH9) for 12noon Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery, Stradbally, Co. Laois.

House strictly private on Wednesday morning.
