The late James Dempsey
After a brave battle our much loved and adored James (Ex Irish Defence Force) passed away on April 3rd 2026. Peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his his loving family and our dogs Bell and Bluey.
Predeceased by his Sister Patti, brother-in-law Joe, nephew Kevin, Mum, Dad, sister Mary Philomena and his great friends Pj Walsh and Terry Dunne.
Beautiful James will be loved and missed daily by his wife and best friend Judy, his beautiful children Matthew, Grace, Sharon his adored grandchildren Megan, Gemma, Dylan, Matilda and Pippa, brothers Pat, Dennis and Shawn, sister Bernie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, sons-in-law, great neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home on Sunday 5 April from 5pm until 6.30pm with rosary at 6pm.
Requiem mass on Easter Monday at 1pm in SS Peter and Pauls Church Portlaoise follwed by a private cremation.
Family flowers only donations to Laois Hospice Pallative Care.

James you will be the brightest star shining watching over each of us daily. Rest in Peace. Till we meet again in Heaven our beautiful great friend and love.
