Joseph (Joe) Costigan, Lacken Rise, Carlow town, formerly of Rathnapish, Carlow and Borris Road, Portlaoise passed away peacefully on 6 September in his 91st year, in the care of St Luke’s General Hospital, Kilkenny.
Predeceased by his sons Joe and Paul, his brothers Donal and Paddy, his sister Rita, his brother-in-law Mick and his sister-in-law Rita.
Beloved husband of Kitty and much loved brother of Jackie, father of Carolyn, Neil and David and grandfather of Douglas, Alex, Grace, Leah, Abby, Klara and Zoe.
Deeply regretted by his son-in-law Norman, daughters-in-law Roisin, Viktoria and Olivia, brother-in-law, sisters-in law, nephews, nieces, his many friends and his former colleagues in Telecom Éireann and CareDoc.
Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow (R93 H308) this Wednesday from 4.30pm, concluding with prayers at 7.30pm.
Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Holy Family, Askea to arrive for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery.
