Large section of M9 in Carlow closed after crash

A large section of the M9 is closed in Co Carlow following a crash.
Gardaí say the incident happened southbound at Junction 6.
The section of road is currently closed between Junction 5 (Tinryland) and Junction 6 (Carlow).
The road is currently closed in both directions, and diversions are in place.
Gardaí say the road will remain closed for a time, and motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
It’s unclear if there are any injuries at this time.
