Unsolved Mysteries 

THE iconic and gripping series returns on 2 October featuring more unexplained deaths, baffling disappearances, and bizarre paranormal activity. Two friends were shot dead at a busy Cleveland park in Ohio on a June day, but no one saw a thing. Grieving families want to know who did it – and why. When cattle are found mutilated in Oregon with near-surgical precision, puzzled ranchers and authorities wonder if a cult is to blame.

It's What's Inside 

A pre-wedding party descends into a nightmare when an estranged friend arrives with a suitcase containing a mysterious device capable of inducing body swaps. Tempted to play a twisted game, the group uncovers hidden truths, suppressed desires, and deep-seated grudges. It’s What’s Inside (4 October) peels back layers of intrigue with twists and turns. Greg Jardin's debut feature, celebrated at Sundance and SXSW, merges thriller, dark comedy, and sci-fi into a provocative and stylish narrative.

Starting 5 

Starting 5, a new 10-part Netflix sports series available from 9 October, provides an intense, behind-the-scenes look at the 2023-24 NBA season through the eyes of five of the league’s biggest players – Jimmy Butler (Miami Heat), Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers), Domantas Sabonis (Sacramento Kings) and Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics). Starting 5 delivers an unfiltered view of professional basketball.

The Lincoln Lawyer 

Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), an iconoclastic idealist, runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles. Based on the series of bestselling novels by renowned author Michael Connelly, the third season (out on 17 October) is based on the fifth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series, The Gods of Guilt.

The Last Night at Tremore Beach 

A musician and composer in crisis retreats into a coastal village in the north to finish his latest work. His only neighbours for miles around are a married couple living in the next house. After a serious accident during a storm, the musician begins to experience some terrifying visions about his neighbours. The Last Night at Tremore Beach will be released on 25 October.

The Diplomat 

A deadly explosion in the heart of London shatters US Ambassador Kate Wyler’s world (Keri Russell). Struggling to rebuild the lives that broke and the team that split apart, Kate’s worst fears unfold: the attack that brought her to the UK didn’t come from a rival nation, it came from inside the British government. Season 2 of The Diplomat premiers 31 October.
