Lotto player in Cork wins over €1m

A Lotto player in Cork had an extraordinary Saturday night after winning  €1,000,500 in the special Lotto Plus Raffle event.

The Cork player scooped the special prize after purchasing their winning ticket online.

The winning Raffle number was 1725

As well as the Cork winner, who has now taken the title of 4th National Lottery millionaire of the year to date, two players in Kildare and Galway matched five numbers and the bonus in the main draw to win €42,191 each.

The Kildare winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket on Friday, 13th March at Supervalu Newbridge on the Athgarvan Road in Newbridge to win their €42,191 prize, while the Galway winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket on Thursday, 12th March at Spar, Carrowkeel, Kiltullagh, Athenry.

The winning numbers in the Lotto draw on Saturday, 14th March were: 03, 05, 31, 37, 42, 46 and the bonus was 17.
