AS THE SUN shone down on Rathdowney recently, members of Laois Partnership Company made the local Clochar Centre their home for this year’s open-day roadshow.

TO MARK Local Development Week, which celebrates the role local development companies play in building vibrant, inclusive and sustainable communities, Laois Partnership is holding a roadshow in the Clochar Centre, Rathdowney today, Tuesday 13 May.

A BOOK of short stories and poetry by local man Mick Morrissey was launched in Mountmellick Library recently by creative writing tutor Ryan Dunne.

LAOIS Partnership Company recently marked the launch of the Local Development Companies Network (LDCN).
