THE sunny and dry weather conditions on Sunday 6 April proved the ideal day for members of the Knock Vintage Club and Men’s Shed Group to plough the fields around Knock in Spink.

John Kennedy, Boleybeg, Spink, Abbeyleix died at The Regional Hospital, Portlaoise on Monday 24 February. John is predeceased by his wife Mary and son Jimmy. He lived for many years in Manchester.

Bernadette (Bernie) McCormack (née Doyle), Ring Road, Loughboy, Kilkenny and formerly of Spink passed away peacefully surrounded by family in the exceptional care of the staff at Tinnypark Nursing Home on Monday 25 November.
