KNOCK NS recently celebrated 75 years of primary education in the area with many events taking place in and around the school to mark this wonderful occasion.

 Laois Garden Festival was full of Buds and Blooms, last weekend at Spink GAA grounds. The colourful event took attracted huge crowds who looked, purchased and honed their garden skills.

THE Portlaoise and District Ploughing Association held its annual competition on the lands of Matt Lalor, Ballycarnan on Saturday 1 February. Competitors and spectators of all ages came from all corners of the county to attend the event.
