THERE were scenes of celebration at St Mary’s CBS on 21 August when leaving certificate students were invited to celebrate their results. Approximately 1,200 Laois pupils across 11 secondary schools sat the exams in 2026.

The two students from St Mary`s CBS, Portlaoise won 1st place overall and the Intellectual Property Awards in the Junior Category.
